Hi all,
I've been happily lurking for the last couple of months in preparation for getting my first snake. We got him home yesterday, and naturally he's been in hiding ever since. I'm looking forward to getting to know him when he's ready and no doubt coming and asking plenty of questions too. This is Emmet and he's 4 months old

Thanks all. I'm not 100% on his morph, he was sold as a terrazzo but someone on the facebook page asked me if he was a Tessera and another person thought he could be a normal stripe. I'm open to suggestions as I'm far from an expert! Emmet has currently taken up almost perminant residence of his hollow log, we've only seen him out once but I figure that it's normal for him to hide away to start with. I am very paranoid about loosing him so I am checking he's still there once a day when I change his water |

So glad you've come out of the shadows and joined us officially Kate  . Emmet is lovely. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. We don't bite, except for certain admins/mods if they aren't bribed with Jaffa cakes  .
