Hey there, been having a good lurk on here over the last few weeks, particularly this week just gone as I purchased a little corn snake of my own last week, so figured it'd be best to join up and get involved.
So hello! 
Also, meet Hades!
Made a few mistakes so far, he was fed on his first day here, though he took it fine, and when I got home last night he'd had a nice full shed complete with eye caps and tail. If I'd realised he was due to shed I'd never have handled him. But with all that, he's eaten, shed nicely and left a nice big poo in his aspen. Then he spent last night having a good roam around his vivarium, so all in all I think he's ok!
I have a question or two, but I'll save those for the relevant sections.

I'm glad you and Hades have come in out of the shadows, Dale  . You'll have seen that this is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship  . He is a gorgeous, colourful snake.
Don't worry too much about having handled him and fed him. You weren't aware that he was blue and it obviously didn't do him any harm. In fact it sounds like he's a confident little fellow  . I'm sure you've already browsed the TCS site and forum, so you've probably already looked at these threads....but better heard twice than not at all. The best places to start are the Care Sheet and Your 1st snake. As Hades is young then Setting Up A Hatchling Corn Snake - My 101 is definitely required reading. You'll also find a lot of information on viv set-up, feeding, shedding and handling in General Keeping Information - Stickies
If you can't find what you want to know using the search option, then please don't hesitate to ask. We don't bite....much  .
A word of warning, Hades won't be your last corn....they are addictive .
