Posted - 31/05/2013 : 10:27:51 Hello and welcome Great choice in wanting an anery - they are fab, but so are all the other morphs. As people have said it is very very rare that people stop at owning one |

Posted - 31/05/2013 : 09:23:03 Hi Dan, it is really good that you have joined us....and before you've got your snake so you can learn as much as you can and make sure everything is perfect for it when it arrives . This is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship .
I am sure you have already browsed the TCS site and forum, so you've probably already looked at these threads....but better heard twice than not at all. The best place to start is the Care Sheet, which is helpful. Also have a look at Your 1st snake and as it is a hatchling you are going to get then Setting Up A Hatchling Corn Snake - My 101 is definitely required reading. As Redware has said, you'll also find a lot of information on viv set-up, feeding, shedding and handling in General Keeping Information - Stickies
If you can't find what you want to know using the search option, then please don't hesitate to ask. We don't bite....much .
A word of warning, with corns you can't stop at one....they are addictive !

Posted - 30/05/2013 : 23:55:17 Hi Daniel
Great to see that you are wanting to get a corn snake, they are great pets and you will get much reward out of them.
The best advice I can give you is to read over the Sticky topics in the general keeping information section here http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=37
As far as a shopping list goes LittleMicks guide to setting up a hatchling is the best bet http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9878.
Hope that helps and good luck.
