Hi Orville, my name is Fi and I am new around here too. I have a 6 month old corn snake and she but she is only diddy, so she is on single pinkies at the moment.
It would probably be best to help your grandson weigh his snake, as Kellog has done a great post which will give you a rough guide to feeding

It will depend on how big it is but at that age they will usually be on 1 or 2 pinky mice every 5-7 days or on mice fluffs every 6-7 days. The usual rule is to feed prey no bigger than 1.5 times the widest part of the snake. |
