Posted - 11/01/2013 : 17:42:50 Hi there guys, I must say this forum has been very informative. Over the last few weeks I have been doing a lot of research and I am happy to say that two days ago I picked up our very first corn snake. He is very friendly and tame so far. We are planning a first feed tomorrow and I am very excited to be part of the vast source of knowledge

Hi and welcome Dont worry about when last fed, they can go many weeks and not eat, and be perfectly fine, so not knowing last feeding day does not really matter. So if you do decide to let him settle til feeding its ok
I'll bear that in mind, thank you for the info |

Hi and welcome. It might be a good idea to leave him for a week to get used to his new home, without any handling or feeding. He won't starve and if he is at all stressed from moving to a new home he might regurgitate his meal if you feed him too soon. It's what most of us on here do when we get a new snake.
Thank you for that information, I will see how he goes tomorrow but if he's not interested I'll leave him. The pet store guy said he feeds them every four days but didn't know when he was last fed |
