Hi peoples! Just joined up and brought home my first hatch-ling corn a few days ago will be attempting to feed him tomorrow as he seems to have settle in a little bit... pokes his nose out of his hide when ever there is movement near his RUB lol! Any advice would be much appreciated as it is his first feed and want to give myself the best chance of success if that makes sense?

Thanks and yeah im prepared for disappointment when feeding him but its been 5 days already (No handling) just thought i would give it a go as he seemed "VERY" interested last night when i fed my royal. He's on some high quality andrex toilet paper (my herps only get the best ) in a lil 10" RUB at the mo by the way

Hello and welcome!
Dont worry if he doesnt eat for you just yet, its common for them to go off their dinners for a while after moving

Welcome to the forum

It is normally suggested that you leave a new arrival to settle in for a whole week before handling or feeding them. That would increase your chances of success with the feed.

Some people do feed their corns sooner than that though. I fed Apollo four days after I got him home and he ate like a hoover, still does actually If you house your corn on a substrate, I would suggest that you transfer him to a different container to feed him so that he can't accidently ingest some of the substrate which could cause a blockage. Good luck
