Hi. Got first snake just 50 years after first wanting one. Beautiful charcoal corn for my granddaughter but sadly it has to live with me, Mummy not impressed! Only got her on Monday, wanting another already, my son thinks that I have OSD!!

Kitty is 5 months old, and Fizz is 2 months old and arrived here on Tuesday. Having fun.

So when did Fizz arrive?

Glad to hear the shed has gone well with a little help, two pinkies feeding well how old is the wee one

Kitty shed in 3 parts one of which I had to help her with - thanks to the info on this site I knew to get a damp piece of towel and she wriggled through it until every scrap was gone, thanks everyone. She's had 2 pinkies today for the first time. AND, um ..... I have to confess, Fizz has had one pinkie, she's an even smaller baby and is a pretty little Carolina - addictive isn't it? ;o)

Welcome to the forum! And I hope you'll be able to watch her shed, it's a pretty awesome sight :)

Quite excited - Kitty kept clicking and so, having read lots of views on this, had identified my local reptile vet and was going to make an appointment - was also on the verge of emailing her breeder for advice. BUT, have just had a look at her and she's in the middle of shedding!! She'd been just in her hide for a couple of days and having read advise on resp illness I'd turned her stat up a little, then she started moving around her faun but was clicking more !!! Was getting worried and went to have a look when I saw her shedding. Will still keep her under obs for clicking just in case. This is worse than having a new puppy!!!

Hi Dalymad2 - my son thinks it's OSD (Obsessive Snake Disorder!) and yes, want No.2 already - have seen an Okeetee in America that I'd love! They are lovely aren't they? and well worth waiting for.

Hatchie poop is small and dries to a tan colour very fast.. makes it hard to spot on aspen (it's why quite a few recommend kitchen roll for the first little bit)

What about 'Yellow' ones, 'Purple' ones, and 'White' ones...

lol

Kitty has just eaten her 2nd. pinkie since arricing on 15th Oct, she's not pooped yet (?). She's getting quite bold when out of her faun - just having lots of fun and wanting another. Need a "red" one too.
herriotfan, yes, have had setters for 38 years now and wouldn't be without them, such naughty boys!!

Hi and welcome.
I see you have setters, beautiful dogs.
Some dog forums are best kept away from!!

By the way, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm on lots of forums, especially to do with pedigree dogs and showing, not as kind and helpful as The Snake People. :o)
Mags53 Posted - 21/10/2012 : 08:19:40
Oh, no, I really, really don't want Mummy to come-around - I NEED Kitty to live with me! ;) I'm wanting another already. May I ask, the CB'11, etc. what does that stand for? I'm assuming it's to do with hatching but sometimes I assume too much!

Welcome to the forum

I'm sure you can get 'mommy' to come around... has she ever actually met a snake? (or did she just read on the internet that they eat you?) lol

Welcome!
