Posted - 15/04/2012 : 00:10:30 Just joined the forum so wanted to say Hi to everyone. Have become quite familiar with corns,as my grown up daughter has two adults she has had from baby's and have been involved a lot with feeding/handling them etc. so thought it time to take the plunge myself ! So I now have a lovely three month old (prob female:) Feeding well and a real pleasure to watch exploring and digging lots of tunnels in the shavings!! Have included a few pics of her,and if any of you guys could confirm her type/colour,that would be great.

Posted - 22/04/2012 : 00:06:08 Thanks again everyone.Bit of an update cornsnake wise.Have just got another one!!(owner was looking for a good home for him as is moving away) Think I have definitely got the corn snake bug now!! To say he is the other end of the scale to my baby would be an understatement!! He is 7 years old and the biggest corn I have ever seen!! He is 6 feet long and has a girth to match!! (Not fat at all tho'- still a nice loaf shape!!) Not weighed him yet but he is certainly well over a kilo! He is definitely a gentle giant, very friendly and loves coming out to be handled and for a wander around.(prob glad to stretch out fully!! LOL) He came to me in his 3ft viv but felt a bit sorry for him as he realy didnt have enough room in there so have got him a lovely 4x2x2 viv which will be his new home in a few days. Will post up some pics and his weight asap as he is in shed at the mo' |
