I've had my snake for two weeks now, and about three days ago her eyes turned a milky colour and her skin started to dull, so I thought she must be getting ready to shed. But now her eyes and scales are their normal colour again, and there's no shed skin in her tank, I'm not sure what happened with her. Any help?

I saw the eye caps right away on t he shed because they looked really cool. Didnt know about about the tail tip though, so thanks, and it is on the skin she shed.

Thanks everyone :) Myha shed tonight, and the skin was all in one piece, so she did a good job!

Hi and welcome to the forum :) It won't hurt to offer a feed and leave it up to your snake to decide if they want it or not. NOTHING stops Corno feeding lol!!

I'd offer and see if she takes mine will eat come rain or snow If she doesn't want it then she won't take it.

I think she's about 1.5 feet long, I tried to measure her when I got her, but she doesn't like to stay still. She only a couple months old, and is eating pinkie mice.

its up to you, she may not feed but she may do, i have one that does and one that doesnt. how big is your corn?
ScalySituation Posted - 12/04/2012 : 21:22:12
if shes cleared i'd wait cos sonnys just finished and he refused his meal, i think it might be cos he realised if he eats he might still have a full tummy and might not be able to do it when the time comes, but its completely up to you
myhasnake Posted - 12/04/2012 : 21:18:50
ok, thank you, I was worried I did something wrong.

Also, its been nine days since I last fed her, should I feed her again, or wait for her to finish shedding?
Georgina Posted - 12/04/2012 : 21:13:07
yp, perfectly normal, should have a shed within a week x
ScalySituation Posted - 12/04/2012 : 21:09:12
its all normal :)

They cloud for a few days...

They clear for a few days...

Then they FINALLY shed
