I read that advice about the 7 days just after i fed her and then put my computer on. Was relying on advice from shop where i got her who said to leave her for a couple of days and to continue with her weekly feed but not to worry if she did not feed. She took it OK though it was all of about 5 seconds in front of her before she bit it. Will leave her for a few days now as you say, just go in to change water and remove waste.

Have checked viv thoroughly and can not see any holes, she has checked everything out quite well so i think if i had missed one she would have found it by now.

The usual advice is not to feed and to not handle till 7 days after they've been brought home, this is time for them to settle into new surroundings and get used to new noises and smells, if she's fed thats great, leave her for 48 hours without handling to let her digest (this is the boring bit of snake keeping) you will get more so you can have the fun times lol.

Have you blocked up every little possible hole, they are very good at escaping and can get out of the teeniest of gaps.

its about 16" x 10" with 2 hides. Currently she is dug under the aspen in-between the two sleeping a feed off, think she likes it under there as it is not the first time she has gone under.
