Posted - 04/01/2012 : 19:51:25 Hi just wishing to introduce myself, I have been visiting for about a month or two reading threads to find out as much as I could before getting my Christmas present. I am now the proud owner of a hatchling called Morse, don't know whether male or female and think it is an Amel of some sort. I also have a slightly older Anery hatchling called Zeus, again don't know whether male or female. Both are housed seperately - no co-habiting allowed!! Introducing Morse:
Introducing Zeus:
This forum has been a brilliant source of information and views on what morph Morse is would be appreciated, thanks in advance |

Posted - 20/01/2012 : 20:42:28 Hi Jessica. Maizie is a creamsicle (which is actually a corn x rat snake) and Smudge is an ultramel motley; she's darker than Maizie with small bits of black pigment and has speckles on her belly rather than checkers. Maizie has a lot more white and is a much lighter orange |

Posted - 12/01/2012 : 14:23:19 Braveheart I'm new to snake keeping, so as smart bunny says you'd be best to start your own thread to get quick answers. I hope all goes well with your hatchling, I'm sure if you start a thread or search on this forum you will find some helpful answers.

Posted - 12/01/2012 : 10:51:27 Oh wow they are both gorgeous Blackcat!
Braveheart, you'd be better starting your own thread in the health section as it will likely get more/quicker answers, but I know snakes can go without food for quite a while before you need to start stressing. |

Posted - 05/01/2012 : 13:38:06 Thanks for all your lovely comments on my hatchlings and your welcomes. As for addictive, think that has already happened, I was only meant to have one as a Christmas present, but just couldn't resist having Zeus! I also have realised that they have very different characters, not something I had thought about. Morse is very quiet and calm, whilst Zeus is whizzy and bold, particularly at feeding time. |

Posted - 05/01/2012 : 08:59:47 Hi Welcome to the forum. What stunning little hatchies you have. I'd go for a motley stripped amel but I'm no expert on morphs! You do know these snakes are addictive don't you....it will be almost impossible to just have two!!!!! |

Posted - 04/01/2012 : 23:22:09 i'd say the same. amel stripe, maybe motley. the motley's can have striped markings on occasion. |
