Posted - 16/11/2011 : 19:22:56 Hi, everyone. I own a 4 year old anery corn, it's growing very quickly, right now I would estimate it to be 1.4m long.
By the way how do you tell if a snake is male or female? I call it "him" even though I don't now it's sex.

Posted - 16/11/2011 : 19:34:31 hi there
the only way to 'really' tell the sex of a snake is to either get it probed (which you would need to do for yours) or popped which should only be done on hatchies, as it can potentially hurt/damage and older snake. Should add probing or popping should only be done by people experienced in it. Often reptile shops will/can do this.
Some people take a guess by looking at the tail - if after its vent its narrow and short you would guess female and if wider and longer a male |
