Just thought Id introduce myself, and say hello. Never had a snake before but looked after my friends Corn a few times. So we have decided to get one of our very own. Went out today with a copy of the list of things needed, and got everything.
So now we will be setting it up tonight and hopefully get the temperatures right and then we will be getting our new addition No doubt I will be back soon with questions !!

Hi, welcome to the forum.

If your son wants a corn with red in it then you can't go wrong with a Carolina, or normal/wildtype as it's sometimes called. As hatchlings they can look a bit dark and not very red, but don't let that put you off, as they mature their colour really comes out and they are simply beautiful. They are easily obtainable, cheaper than other morphs but are just as, if not more, stunning than a lot of the more expensive corn morphs.

You can see pics of some Carolinas here.

Welcome along! I do think the Carolina is one of the most beautiful morphs but like Kez says there are lots of morphs with red colourings. Can't wait to see some pics!

Hiya and congratulations on a great decision

There are plenty of colourful morphs with different degrees of reds and oranges, so I'm sure you'll find something that he loves, whether it's a Carolina, Okeetee, Amel or maybe a Candy Cane or Creamsicle like our Maizie

Have fun choosing and get prepared for the addiction that you will eventually suffer from enjoy
