Hi All,
Found the web site a couple of weeks ago and its been very useful, thanks to everyone for all the fantastic info. Thought I should register and say hello as we now have our first snake in the family!

My wife decided she would like a pet snake and I've always wanted one so we decided an early Christmas present was in order. A couple of weeks of reading and research and I found a fantastic reptile shop in Gloucester and picked up a nice starter kit. Yesterday we picked up our new baby, she (we hope) is about 5 months and now called Lola.

I can see this being the first but not the last :)

We are a bit of an animal house. Other pets include Chelsea the Whippet, a 240L tropical aquarium with dwarf gourami, various tetra's, 5 panda corys and a pair of bristlenose plecs and assorted fry as they keep breeding. Oh and a 35L tank with shrimp and apple snails, also breeding!

Our daughter takes a keen interest in all the pets and is fascinated with Lola, cant wait to hold her!
