Just thought I'd show my face, as I've been reading your posts for the past week! I'm Vicki, and hopefully on saturday I shall be going to pick up my very first snake  I'm so excited it's silly, I keep looking at the viv I've set up and I'm counting down the days 
I will apologise now, as I'm bound to have loads of questions, but better to ask and find out how to do things properly than to not ask and something happens to Eric (as my snake shall be now known as - boy or girl, it's Eric!)

He's fine thanks :) Did exactly as the rep shop owner told me, and he happily fed saturday afternoon (was due then, and was told to feed him) with no problems, taking it straight from my hand. He's very nosey, and has spent loads of time checking out his new place. I'm smitten |

Thanks for the great welcome :) Well, tomorrow is the day I go get Eric, I'm counting down the hours now, it's ridiculous!lol This time tomorrow I'll have a lovely little corn snake all tucked up and happy in it's new tank :) |

Hi Vyx, welcome. I've only had my first corn snake for nearly 2 wks & did all reading up I could before we got him but nothing quite prefers you for the real thing & this forum has been an absolute godsend!
Don't be afraid to ask any question, however trivial or stupid it may seem to you because you'll get good advise on this forum. It's put my mind at rest & stopped me worrying too much, I can tell you! |
