Posted - 17/04/2011 : 10:09:27 the viv is at 85 then at night it goes down to 80 she is in shedding mode at the moment so hopefully she will be hungry for a mouse or will she get hungry when she sheds |

snakes shed because the are growing usually or to clear themselves from injury to their scales, and 3 weks without food is nothing to worry about it could be down to the shedding but could also be a few other things, what temps are in the housing,

snakes shed because they are growing so not necessarily that they like their home, with the feeding thing its up to you as to whether you feed her in or out of her current home - i feed inside the viv as its easier with 6 to feed but mine will all feed outside of the vivs with no problems if you do feed inside the viv make sure that there's some paper down to avoid ingesting any substrate, honestly its up to you and if you think she would cope with a bigger viv - if you pack it out with lots of hiding spaces and greenery then there's no reason as to why she shouldn't be ok the non feeding could be down to many things but if she's gone blue then that would probably be the cause, you could try her again on the next due date and see if she takes it or not, what are the temps like for her currently?
look forwards to pictures
