Posted - 04/04/2011 : 12:01:59 Hi everyone,my name is Rob from the UK.I have a sun burst cornsnake, around 2 and a half feet long,i dont know how old he is as i havent had him that long, maybe 6 months. At the moment he isnt feeding,he shed his skin about 6 weeks ago,he is still quite active, but must be 3 or 4 weeks since hes eaten,i have just read on here someone saying they can go for months without food,if this is true then i hope im worrying for nothing! |

Posted - 04/04/2011 : 15:05:43 Hi Welcome to the forum. Hope you've been reassured now that snakes can go a long time without food. Just as well at this time of year, breeding season, because lots of them have their minds on things other than food!! |

Posted - 04/04/2011 : 12:06:51 Hiya and welcome to the forum. Corns can go off their food food quite a long time for many reasons, generally so long as they are not losing weight then it's nothing to worry about.
Have a looky here: http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13662 and answer as many of those questions if you would like to be put fully at ease.
