Posted - 05/02/2011 : 21:32:36 you leave the bulb on at night. Best idea is to get yourself an IR bulb not a pain in the backside at night time.

Posted - 05/02/2011 : 21:26:51 Hello and welcome
Do you have a guard for your bulb? Better safe than sorry! I keep my leopard geckos with bulbs and no heat mats; they live in wooden vivs in a warm room so the heat loss overnight isnt too much. I guess you'll need to monitor the night time temperatures for a while and if it drops too low then it might be idea to invest in a mat |
