Hi everyone!

Just a quick one to introduce myself.
My name is Natasha and my boyfriend has just picked up our 1st corn snake! I have to wait to finish work before i can see him Hes a little normal corn snake and i have decided to name him Alice (after the one and Alice Cooper!)

Really excited to go home and see him... Will post pictures when i take some and will no doubt be asking many many questions

Thanks everyone :)
He is absolutely gorgeous! I didn't want to put him down! What is the maximum amount of time that you should handle your snake?
Tried to take some nice pictures but he kept moving and i think ill need a better camera than just my phone.
Ahh what a great day! :)

I'm sure he'll be fine in the faun, they only have small holes. Loki was in one to begin with and he never escaped despite his best attempts.
Gave me a few heart attacks though, thought he had escaped on 2 occasions. The first time I couldn't see him and he was coiled up on the underside of the lid and the second time he'd hidden under the kitchen roll!! They are very good at hiding
NatashaK Posted - 15/11/2010 : 17:34:39
Ummm i think its a faun and when he gets bigger we'll get a nice viv for him :) Hes only a few months old, he looks like a little worm (looking at the picture messages i've been sent by the evil bf)
I'm sure he'll be fine but i worry about EVERYTHING so if there is anything i can do to prevent it i will :)

Ha,ha,ha thats just evil of him!! Thanks,I love my little babies

In regards to him escaping, how old is he? Are you keeping him in a faun or viv?
NatashaK Posted - 15/11/2010 : 17:21:40
Thanks :)

I've been reading thorugh some posts and i've just scared myself a bit... theres a few posts about snakes escaping through tiny holes!?... how can i prevent this?
