hi all as you have probably guessed by the title it my first snake ,my name is neal and ive had my ghost for a week and a half hes 3 1/2 months old,hes been named sonic by the kids, hes eaten twice now with no problems but no signs of shedding yet, he seems to love being handled and dosent mind the kids holding him (with me there of course) ive got some pics which ill have to post up soon.

f you've only had him a week and he's been fed twice already i'd recommend feeding no more frequently than every 5 days as snakes aren't designed to be constantly digesting food. also, as you shouldn't handle them for 48 hours following a feed, it means you and the kids wouldn't be able to play with him as much

i got him on a thursday which was his feed day then he feed again last thursday which is every 7 day, i think this is ok but please tell me if this is wrong. and he dosent get handled untill the saturday.

Hi and welcome to the forum i give you 6 months and evryone in your family will have there own snake lol there very addictive so be warned i only started keeping snakes since july and now i have 15 and it all kicked off with me babysitting 1 for my niece whilst she away to live in India for 3 years lol
