Thanks again for all your comments, fed her on friday (day after shedding) she took it in a flash. When do you move them up off pinkies?

My snake missed a meal when shedding (literally started to shed as I was feeding), so I fed the following day, though like everyone says you could leave it until the next scheduled feeeding day and it wouldn't do the snake any harm.

Hello I'm also new, try feeding her in a few days as doing it too often when she isn't interested can stress her out more than anything else.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Congratulations on becoming a snake owner or should I say becoming owned by a snake. This is a brilliant forum with lots of great people willing to give advice, laughs and sometimes commiserations. Never be afraid to ask questions but before you do you can always check out the search option at the top of the page. Quite often you will find out more than what you wanted to know and it is always good to find people who have been through the same thing.
We can't wait to see pics of your little girl but be aware, this snake keeping lark is addictive. I started with one in December and now have 6. You have been warned lol!

Probably should have put a bit more info in that post. Kodie hatched 6-7-10 bought her 13-9-10 dont own any other reptiles went to look at tarantula's held a corn snake and new right then that i needed 1 of my own to love. Have a cat (fuji) chilean rose tarantula (ruby) lots of tropical fish and cichlids and of course Kodie don't know the sex but my youngest girl decided she is a she.
