Hey,

I am Bane. I just got my very first snake today and after months of research and saving I got myself a lovely corn snake named Riddle. While searching for information I discovered this site which helped me alot. I decided to join. So here I am!

Thanks, Riddle is my very first snake and my last pet was a cat 3 years ago. I will try to get photos up. The name just hit me.

I will need help and you may get 2 am postings about everything I maybe worried about. I have been reading all the posts, the care sheets, the help topics and some profiles. Moments like these makes me happy that I have an edictic memory although the conflicting information on various sites and books often confuse me as often no information is the same.

I love snakes. I cannot wait to start handling my snake. I have looked at other snakes and I am already thinking on getting one or two more! I just have to convince my mother but as I paid and sorted everything and the set up is in my room I believe that I can twist her arm to allow it.

Hi Sarah, Congrats on the new addition, Riddles is a great name. I can't wait to see pics once he/she has settled - i love carolinas.

We are a friendly bunch on here, so any questions you have feel free to ask although a good place to start is the search function then you can check anything you don't understand. Be aware tho that snakes are addictive and it is very dangerous seeing all the different morphs people have on here.

regardless of morph all cornsnakes are still just cornsnakes, morphs are just different colours and patterns :)

Thank you for all the welcomes :)

Riddle is very young about 3 months old according to the hatch date I was given. I am not certain about the sex so I used an ambigious name. Riddles isn't a morph. I bought a regular corn snake, a beautiful brown, orange and red Carolina. I head about how morphs can be harder for a beginner so I advoided them.

Hi
Welcome to the forum.
Tell us all about Riddle, how old? boy/girl? morph?
Photos too would be nice after you've done the week of 'hands off' settling in!
