hi everyone,ive received 2 cornsnakes of my friend he couldnt look after them anymore and has passed them onto me,they are my first ever snakes and im struggling a bit ive had them for about two weeks and ive fed them once they both ate two mice each and then yesterday was 8 days from the last feed and only the female ate 1, im a bit worried about both snakes because the male is in his own vivarium and doesnt hide he jst stays sprawled out on the hay and the female is now just hiding away all the time i have noticed that they have faded in colour either that or i need my eyes testing please can some1 help me.

thank you for your advice i think my snakes are about to shed and thats why there not eating also the substrate [bedding] is fine apparently they like to burrow and submerge them selves

Have a looky at the caresheet on the main page of the forum, that may answer some questions about the dulling down.
Also might be worth reading closely about the substrate (bedding) to use.
