Posted - 02/08/2010 : 12:41:51 Hi, Just purchased our first Corn Snake on Saturday, our daughter has named him/her "Flakes" (yes, as in Corn Flakes!) pictures to follow. He/She seems happy, Flakes had just been fed when we got him/her so was very active. He/she is settleing in now. Just wanted to ask we are leaving alone for 1 week like advised but he/she is due a feed tomorrow (has been feeding on 1 pinkie every 3 days) should we offer a pinkie or leave until Saturday? Flakes was hatched on 28th June. |

Posted - 03/08/2010 : 21:29:25 Hi Welcome to the forum. Best to let Flakes settle in before feeding. Then don't touch for 48 hours after feeding to allow food to digest. Then it's handle when you like until you've fed Flakes again! Corns are lovely, you'll really enjoy him/her. |
