You put that brilliantly JJ, and at the end of the day you do just have to get on and cope with it....and if you look around you, you realise that there are a lot of people who are so much worse off than you. I think one thing I have learnt is to give thanks for the small things in life, to cherish those things that so many people take for granted....like friendship .

i know docs never have the answers but it does bug me haha, n'awww at least im not the only one i suppose, they reli dont know what to do with the lump as ive had it removed surgically twice but they dont wana do it agen cos of the scar, where as me i think they should crack on but they wana inject it or something (i have reli no idea what but it sounds painful) so not looking forward to that and spec as i ahve to go to birmingham hospital for that which is an hour n a half from me :(

as for my knee ive already lost my job because of it as its not gettin better :( and the moles well i find out today eeekkk, arrgh i hate hospitls :(

n'awww that doesnt sound to good thou... the sme boat eh? wel kinda :/ but im sorry about your son and yourself as i said that doesnt sound to bril but i supose thats life n we just have to face whatever it throws at us eh? as grr as that sounds

erm shopping didnt reli get anything in the end, erm got my incubator at last lol erm, clothes, jewlery that type of stuff but still got most of my money so will sort a new spending spree out :D o got a new goldfish aswell lol now have 3 lol dont ask

Am sorry you have so much to deal with regarding all your different health issues and therefore hospital visits. I am all to fimilar with illness, and I have lost track of the different number of consultants and specialists I have seen....but luckily or unluckily no ops will fix me. It is the same with my son, who is a type 1 diabetic - we had a scare a few weeks ago where we thought he was going to have to have an op to remove an abscess that the surgeon was 100% sure was there. Were in hosp all day, nil by mouth, a cannula in each arm, all when they finally did an ultra-sound scan at about 5pm to check there was nothing else they were dealing with....and there was no abscess. Saw the surgeon afterwards and he couldnt understand it (but being a Christian I could ).

The lump on your neck sounds weird with the way it keeps coming back and now these moles....but unfortunately I know all to well the fallability of docs, they dont have all the answers, they cant always tell you what is wrong and they cant wave a magic wand and make you all better - how I wish they could.

I am sorry you are having to say goodbye to your dad and dont know when you will next see him....I cant begin to imagine what that must be like .

Sooo........what did you buy????

What is up with your kid brother Moina?

lol i think i might of bein a lil tipsy but i tried lol... dont really remember typing this to be honest haha

im forever in the hospital, im clumsy anyways but if im not in the hospital cos of my knee im in it 4 a lump on my neck (that ive had since i was about 4/5 but have had it removed twice and now its back n stupidly painful, but the docs have no idea what it is really except a blood mass) and now i have a new prob with bloody moles changing n stuff (bleeding, chngin colour etc) (they kinda panicked at the docs and there very quick 4 appointments 4 that.. funny that.. but not 4 anything else grrr) aaarrrggghhh i abs hate hospitals but on the plus side 4 those 3 difo reasons i get to go to 3 difo hospitals woop so i supose thats not to bad, although i dont reli know how that works but hey ho.

but my dad going home later tonight and not sure when guna see him next sooo not fair but as i said on the plus side shopppppiiiiinnnggggg wooop wooop

yeah, glad you had a great day.

Why is the hospital a second home? That's like my kid brother! (They all seem to know him now!!)
Kellog Posted - 26/05/2010 : 05:48:48
Sounds like you had a fantastic day JJ....which is how it should have been - especially being able to see your dad. Am just sorry it was for such a short period of time.

Am amazed at how well you have managed to tell us about it all considering the amount of alcohol you must have consumed!!

Hospital 2nd home??
