I think the ferret one is different.....

*runs off to check the events calendar on the Reptilian*

Yes - it's the Houten one:

SIX events in one.
ExoRodent - Featuring
EXOTIC ANIMALS - RODENTS - SUPPLIES FERRETS, MAUS,RATS,QUINYPIGS, SKUNKS, BATS, BIRDS, AND A LOT MORE.

Cats Houten

A range of cats of differing breeds
Parakeet Houten
A large selection of fancy birds
Terraria Houten
A wide range of Reptiles and Amphibians along with equipment.
Spiders and Insects Houten
A vast selection of tarantulas and other bugs and beetles
National Ferret Day Houten
All things ferret !

It's in Houten, The Netherlands on April 11th.
All 6 venues are at the same time so you get the best of everything.
Normally they are on seperate dates but for the first time they are all together.
Not as big as Hamm but in general it is more friendly and there are some really good prices especially if you haggle with them which they expect you to.

info provided from reptiles-ink from http://www.thereptilian.co.uk/forum/show...http://www.thereptilian.co.uk/forum/showthread.p

Houten...Hamm... they both begin with a H so whats the difference.. apart from being in different countries?? lmao

if you want a good european show, look up the Breeders Expo Europe (BEE) in Dusseldorf, Germany, and the International Snake Day in Houten, Holland.

I've not been to either yet but know people who are regulars and they all say its a much better environment than Hamm, more space, less crowded, and most importantly air conditioned so you can actually breathe in the place! :D

Not be there in person, but somebody is collecting a couple of new Corns for me from Hamm so will be there in spirit.

It is a big event/market where you can buy and sell different reptiles, its in Hamburg Germany.

There are similar events over here in Britain aswell.
