Hi
I'm sure I've asked this before but can't find it when I do a search.
Is there much difference in the size of male/female adult corns?
Which is smaller/larger as a general rule?
Thanks....

Not IMO. Got a male and female from the same clutch as hatchlings (now 11 years) and they are both very tolerant of handling.

The are also both around the same length (within 2-3 inches) topping off just over 5 foot 7 (as of mid- last year). The female is bigger but I'm sure you'll agree, not by much.

Thanks guys (and gals!) appreciate your help. It seems, that unless you are breeding, or want a larger snake, males are the way to go. Is there a difference in temperament between the two?

I think adult males are cheaper than adult females, atleast with certain morphs but hatchlings are normly all the same price.

Thanks for replies. I understand that males are cheaper to buy as well, is this true in your experience?

As Kehhlyr said.

In most snakes, yes the female does get larger but that doesn't apply to cornsnakes as much.

Most corns top out at an average of 4ft, and even when my big lad (5ft 8) is stretched out he still doesn't look that big because corns are so skinny.

Females tend to grow slightly larger then a male, but each snake is different and all grow at different rates.
