But not in a tidy fashion....

He has had a moist hide, a water bowl big enough to swim in, a little pot of water in the warm side, a rough piece of granite and a bath/damp towel massage, but it is still just dangling off him in strips!!

I am hoping the second soak I just gave him will help a bit, I'm back from uni at 1pm so will see what the score is!

Flippin' snake.....

(but I loves him!)

Yep, eating and keeping it down it going to be the next big thing, but there is still nearly a week to go before I can feed him!

Rach, that is such a relief to hear and thanks for the pics - I dont care that they are blurry, it is just so good to see them!

I am glad you managed to get the full shed off eventually and that he even seemed to enjoy it...I would guess that it was irritating him and you helping him relieved it. No idea why it would be so filthy....dont know what would make that happen except for the bad state he has been in, but why that would effect his skin I dont understand (*shouts for GP!*)

Now we just need to wait and see if he eats....

xxx

WOW!!!!

Just helped Croc shed pretty much his ENTIRE skin after his bath, was soooo cool! (If you haven't guessed, I'm excited!)

I just let him slide through my thumb and forefinger and off it came, bit by bit, and he seemed to really enjoy it- he didn't bite me!!! The skin that came off is the filthiest shed I have EVER seen, absolutely gross not sure why (ideas?!?!)

And pics- excuse the blurriness, hes very fast!
