Posted - 22/01/2010 : 14:43:25 I currently have two corns, but I had been thinking for awhile about getting another snake once I have the $$ to replace one of my broken vivs and get some new equipment.
I think I want to change it up though, any snake recommendations?
My roommate has a ball python, when she takes it out I find that it's not active enough for my liking, I want my snakes to have some character!!
How are King snakes? There's a black shiny one on sale near me right now that has caught my eye.
Oh, and I know for sure to keep those away from any other snakes!! |

Posted - 22/01/2010 : 15:16:55 Black shiny one is probably a Mexi Black King snake.
Some people claim they are a bit feisty, but I don't think so.
But for character, then a king is one of the best, they are nosy and will always try to get to places they shouldn't go and they have a habit of trashing their vivs. Proper good snakes Kings are. I have a mexi black and a cali king snake, a few other members on here have kings as well. I highly recommend them for a second snake after corns.
Have a looky through our sister site: www.thekingsnake.co.uk as well, loads of info/pics etc on there. |
