Hi
I'm a bit upset. After all my research and deciding to get a corn snake I've been told all the rest of the family are against the idea. It really wouldnt be fair on any pet not to be wanted by everyone so I cant have one.
I'll just have to admire them from afar......
You guys have been so helpful while I was doing my research, thanks for that.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year.

I am so sorry to hear that, especially after all the work you have done trying to research it to get it right. Do they realise that and how much you want it?

You know you are still one of us whether you have a corn-snake or not, cos you are a corn-lover.....so please stay!!!! Have got used to having you around!

Have you tired sitting in the corner for days on end crying and rocking?
Personally- I dont generally have to go that far when I want something...
...but theres always a first time :)

Thanks guys. Dont think anything will work. I'm the only person in the house that wants one. They weren't too happy when I got Izzy, my beardie, but they agreed as long as I had 'no more' so I cant really push them all at the moment. They all love Izzy now so I'm going to give it another six monthes or so then try again......
Watch this space in the summer/autumn!

Sorry to hear that. Wen I wanted monty all the family were against it apart grimly dad. My dad talked tonyum and my mum decided that she would let me and to stuff the rest of the family and that it was up to her and that they didn't livehere. Just try and persuade them and show them how fun and fasinating they can b. After a month of me persuading them the rest of the family also loved monty including gran who wad afraid of snakes.

Get rid of the fish and get the corn in the old tank.

They shouldn't notice the change..

Who owns your house? (Phil's law - 'My house, my rules') could work..

Especially seeing as you already have a beardie.

Out of curiosity, when you say 'The rest of the family' are not keen on it, who out of them would like it?

Sorry to hear that.
You could keep at them, educating them as to how great snakes are to keep.
