I couldn't find any shops interested in taking hatchling this year, we had Normals,Amels,Anerys and Snows. The places we spoke to were only interested in high end morphs and stripes. I sold mine for £15-£20 each privatly, far from a money maker once you take out the cost of feeding and housing them, but made a few quid extra by putting together some starter set ups. The starter set ups also gave me peace of mind that my babies had everything they needed to get going with too.
Back to the Butter thing, as we're gonna go for stripes next year our Male Butter may be up for grabs, he's a yearling (but fairly small for his age) and has a lovely temprement, Guessing we'd be after about £60 for him, not the bargin of the century but i'm not too fussed if we keep him We're also thinking of selling a couple of others that don't fit in with our breading plans, (to fund a grown on female snow stripe) So if anyone is interested take a look, hubby has them on his website.

£17 for an amel is a good price to get from a shop :) - my surplus this year was sold for around £10 each :( |

Amels are so common, they'd probably be about a tenner in 3 years for a hatchie, but who knows!?
I'm going to enquire at my local next year, see if they have any big girls for my big lad to 'get acquainted' with.

Haha its ok hopefully they'll give us some lovely little ones in years to come, we'l have to force ourselves to sell them and not keep them all they're all so cute as little worms lol |

Its still a good price isnt it we have a male and female amel but the female looks like she could have a touch of caramel in her. If they breed the guy at the reptile & aquatics centre said he'l give us about £15/£17 per Amel but obviously we might get some other morphs and if theyre more expensive then we want more for them |

if you look about you and baragin a bbit you could get them for as little as 40. (This is a combination of the Caramel trait with Amelanism. Butters turn deep yellow as they reach adult size.) a bit of genetics |
