middle of room hopefully but there is only me and the mrs here

will you actually be using it as a table? as in putting things on it? or just for decoration. Maybe you could cover 1 side (like, say, the one facing the tv) so when you sit on your sofa for example you can still see your snake.

I would still be worried even with just the 2 of you. snakes just arent happy with 4 glass walls.

 looks cool
i like the idea of a coffee table viv but personally i couldnt have one.. I'd be too worried that the constant traffic around it in the evening would upset the snake and stress him/her out..

but would love to see how it looks when completed

I was thinking that, especially with all the sides AND the top being glass...

hope it will be well-packed out.

Agree with concerns of HannahB and SB. Is coffee table going to be in middle of room or in corner? xxx

but I have a question . Where do you plug them in for heat mats etc . Without having wires trailing across the living room floor . My only thought would be having a socket built into the floor like shops do . No idea what that would cost though .

Or stick a rug over the cable if your as useless with electrics as me
There was a company at the Donny show that build coffee table vivs, wall and corner vivs and pretty much anything custom made you want.

                | n/a | Posted - 04/10/2009 : 11:23:49 yes a socket in the floor would be best its what we intended to do when we move but untill then an extension lead will do for now
