Posted - 02/10/2009 : 13:30:34 Hi, Plant pots are great, and there's also a sticky in the DIY section that shows you how to make hides from salt dough. Hope this helps! |

Well you could buy a medium plant pot made from clay from wilkinsons for 89p and get a tile saw and saw a curve in to it and then sand down the sharp edges and that will fit up to at 6ft snake in that. |

Posted - 01/10/2009 : 17:30:14 At the moment, one of Shen's hide is made out of a coffee jar lid and he loves it.
Later on I don't mind giving up one of my cooking pots for this purpose.
But I think the usual advice about plant pots should work fine, if only I can figure out how to cut an opening. |

Posted - 01/10/2009 : 17:03:46 ive got a couple of those Innocent smoothie boxes saved for when mont and the girls get bigger - or for a royal - whichever happens sooner lol
but il probs make my own from plant trays or plant pots or just cardboard boxes - as long as they have somewhere to hide i dont think they are too bothered as to what it is made from |
