Something my dad told me was if you see a car at a junction, dont look to see if the driver has seen you watch the wheels, if they start moving, get off the gas and hover over the break, and I must admit it has stopped me being an a smack!
Another thing, if your making a right turn off a busy road, keep your wheels straight, if anything hits you from behind you will go forward and not pushed over to the path of oncoming traffic! |

Cool! When are you taking the practical?
The first thing my father told me about driving was this: "If ever you see a ball rolling onto the road, prepare to jump the brakes -- there's a child right behind it." He also explained to me the reason why in the USA there are only good drivers: they all pass their tests at 16. By the time they're 18, only the good survive.
