Posted - 02/10/2009 : 21:19:24 My girlfriend got a similar bite a couple of years ago now. She had a scar for about 18 months but it has gradualy faded. They do look impressive for a few weeks though. |

Posted - 02/10/2009 : 05:02:13 Keep us up to date with pics so we can see it changing colour!!! Seriously though - that must have hurt when it happened and will hurt for a while to come! Try arnica or witch hazel to bring out the bruise - helps with the healing process I think. Cant be easy to ride with a bruise like that?? xxx |

Posted - 25/09/2009 : 13:44:21 Owch!! I have ad that before not nice! Also had a cob stamp on my foot while trying to get a pic, (obviously camera shy!) And even had a pony's hoof land on the back of my neck! (she was a cowbag though!) She reared up on me while I was leading her out the field, I sliped in the mud and rolled to get out her way and as she came down he back end slipped and she landed on my neck! Good job it was the back if it was my throught It could have been a lot worse!! Yep Ill agree horses and ponys give the worst injurys by far!! |
