Hi,

We've heard that there is a new reptile sanctuary open in the Morley area.

They are rehoming any rep's and are looking for any spare equipment or people to rehome the reps (Donation only!). They're based on Wakefield Road in Morley/Gildersome and are having an open day on Sunday 4th October 11am-3pm.

If you'd like any more details, feel free to PM us from email address in our profile.

We're (more than likely) going to the open day! See you there!

Yeah we also so this in our local paper. It is Morley Exotic Animal Rescue Centre. The couple how run it only started a month ago and they are still operating from their home. The link below is a really good video of an interview with them showing what animals they have got (including a gorgeous Boa and the cutest wallaby)

Where in Surrey are you Bilbo? (yes I know I could check the members map but it is gone 4 in the morning and I am too tired to do something sensible like that!) xxx

We only spotted this by chance in a local paper! Keep scouring the media, I'm sure there will be sanctuaries all over! Preloved or freeads also tend to have people who take on unwanted reptiles (usually looking for equipment to help with the upkeep), so maybe worth looking on there also.

Good Luck!

Hi, We're really looking forward to going! We read about it in a local paper, they've just opened and are rehoming unwanted reps. They're a charity so it's all donation only but sounds good!
