Today I tried to edit one of my posts to correct a typo, but was told that only the moderators and creator of the post could edit it. Well, I am the creator and there was an icon for editing, but clicking on it resulted in the above notification. This was a surprise because I think I've edited a post before successfully. Can a moderator please help? Thanks  |

Thanks. I've just noticed that I can edit a rsponse post, seems the problem is indeed only with a post that opens a new thread.
The typo is the heading of the post "First feed due tonight" in the word "First" that was typed in as "Firat." And while you're there, I'd really appreciate any input from you, both Hawks here are getting worried...

You can only edit your post if no one has replied to it.
So theres no posts below yours.
Think thats right, Im sure someone will be along soon to confirm it.

i believe there's a timescale involved......... or possibly if a topic has been replied to already and you're the OP wanting to edit the first post.
if you let me know which post and what you want it to read i can edit it for you |
