Hi
Just wondering i found a picture of an easter corn snake (no idea if thats the right name for it)
and i was just wondering how common they are and how much something like that would cost to buy?

like i mentioned before nook i thought it was real and i had kept corns for about 6 months by then. like paul said we like to have a laugh on here but not at other people expense's. no-one meant to insult you mate and im sure we are all sorry you took it that way.
hope you continue to use this forum it does give good advice. |

Nobody is judging you Nook. You posted a pic that made me laugh. Regardless of your level of experience the pic was funny. Even if the morph was real then I still would have laughed because I found the pic funny. I spent the whole of my honours project at university laughing when I saw a newly emerged blowfly in my colony that still had the little airbag on its head inflated. It made me laugh. That is all that was intended by my response to your post. I'm not into playing the all knowing cornsnake guru, pointing and laughing at "newbies" making mistakes. We are all here to help and all have a sense of humour but one thing we will never do is judge a newcomer to snake keeping  .

To be fair the first couple of posts do point out that its a fake probably using photo shop. Then it was a just a few fun posts (mine included) that followed all very light hearted in nature and not pointing or poking fun at anyone......I worry when people can't see the fun side of something that isn't in the least bit offensive! This is a good forum and you should all be proud of they way its run..........But please don't go all PC, theres to much of it in the world already........ |

Nook, this is a great site, and we are all very friendly..

Sorry if anything anyone said upset you nook6, no one would have meant anything they said to be taken in the wrong way. Reading through it is hard to believe that you didnt post it knowing it wasnt a true corn/true photo - and this forum has a great sense of humour.
They give great advice, great support and great friendship but they are only human and cant help it if they occasionally say the wrong thing unwittingly.
We deserve a 2nd chance and you will get the best, friendliest help than anywhere else.
