its feeding day for liquid and i`ve run out of fuzzies, this is the smallest "small" mouse i have so hopeing i can maybe start him on these:

i`m aware of the "1.5 max" rule but thought i`d make double sure with you fine people

i know he shouldn`t have any problems, i`ve bought some more fuzzies today and h quite happily took 3 of them. so i`ll continue with that for the rest of this month, fat him up a bit and try a big one again a few weeks time

he`s already been on two for the last month or so. i`ll just give him a third for a while instead til he gets a bit bigger

i guess he`ll have to wait `til saturday when i can get some more fuzzies

If you want to ghet him onto that size you could try offering him 2 fuzzies for the next couple of meals...thats what i did with Nia

scared or distracted i dont know, he just struck (i let go) and he wondered off. usually he`s straight on it no hesitation, coil, nom.

solid Posted - 29/07/2009 : 19:26:43
i thought it would be all right, no harm in getting a second opinion.

thanks peeps, i might take some snaps if he goes for it
lee2308 Posted - 29/07/2009 : 19:20:08
should take it easily, looks about the same size
Flatpack63 Posted - 29/07/2009 : 19:11:08
He should have no problem with that mouse at all. I was surprised when Rizla took a largish mouse. Never thought he would manage it but it was all I had left at the time. It went down in seconds.

I'd think it would be ok, Mojo has the odd one that size.
But I'd wait for someone more qualified lol, I dont think they would
try to eat them if tooo big.

that looks ok to me, size looks about equal.
