Posted - 26/07/2009 : 20:44:31 Hi im picking my new corn up on sat been too have a look at him today and hes a belter 8 years old and 5 n half foot long the thing is ive been offerd a tank mats lamps etc from a friend but the tank is 4 foot long 3 foot wide and 3 foot high is this too big for a corn???? |

Posted - 27/07/2009 : 18:55:01 I'd say that was ok for a 5' 6" corn. Its probably hitting max size but they do need room to stretch. I know younger smaller snakes can get stressed if the viv is too big. But again if theres plenty of good hiding spaces things should be ok. I know all our snakes are captive bred but they did originally come from the big outdoors and had to deal with it! If you find the snake stressing then alter the surroundings accordingly. Snakes are like people they are all individual and some are more inclined to stress than others. |

Posted - 27/07/2009 : 18:01:41 Is a bit big but if you do use it, as Punkasf says fill it with plenty of hides,logs and plants. Also get some silk or plastic ivy and hang it from the ceiling this will make it seem lower and smaller. |
