Posted - 23/07/2009 : 20:11:16 6 weeks pure bliss of late nights; lie in's and doing whatever I want!!
whats everyones plans? (well for those out of school/college/uni) unless people at work got some leave.
bike riding; training; partying ; training and probably getting fit..
then on the 6th of september back in the hellhole. With our british weather I shouldn't think it'd be a hot summer probably sticky no doubt and the wasps will be out in force
Oh well better than no school! |

So basically your doing it just because it's meant to work so you want to see if it does then?
Yup, boredom does that to people. A couple years ago we made a self-propelled skateboard out of an old belt sander, because we were bored. I also mounted an 80cc moped engine onto a pushbike once as well and ran that on an AVgas mix. 60mph+ and NOT being able to keep the front wheel on the ground is pretty scary stuff. |

Yes, but then if it doesnt work in the oil, how are you going to clean it up and change the fuses?
I wont, it'll get binned. |

Ok, I understand it will work in oil, but why put it in oil!?
Because it *should* work in oil, and oil is brilliant for cooling. Hence why i'm gonna use a machine that should be in a museum, because if it doesn't work, then all I've done is blown the fuses. |

I'm gonna finish submerging one of the old servers under vegetable oil
This confuses me muchly.
when it comes to kehhlyr you should know not to even bother asking lol,but im intriged too
I got an old pc server from the airport, (dual processor!!!) not very good though, it has 1x133mhz Pentium and 1x266mhz pentium running it. The whole 64mb ram. It's no good for anything really, but it works (just) on windows 98. Because vegetable oil is non-conductive there is no reason why it wont work when under oil.
The only parts that wont be under oil are the HDD, cdrom, keyboard mouse and monitor.
The power supplies and everything are gonna be immersed in oil. |

Posted - 24/07/2009 : 11:53:42 I've already been off colege for a month. Finished at the end of june. All i have is a psychology essay and an art project which I'm really enjoying, so 10 weeks of bliss. Going to my boyfriends, going to France, have been to my work experiance, plenty of college parties, I have a gay pride party next week which will be rather hilarious (lots of drunk gays/bis!) Plenty of time to play comp game, going out with mates etc. It's great fun!
Oh yeh and I turn 17 and start driving Already got my car! |
