"The belts are a hazard for artificial satellites and moderately dangerous for human beings, difficult and expensive to shield against." So how did a rocket manage to get through without having major systems problems? No sheilded microprocessing in those days and the computers where the size big garden sheds! Thats from your wikki article.
Don't forget this was 1969.. I'm still not convinced. There are to many mistakes on offical NASA photos. Besides why have they never been back? All that tosh about knowing all they need to know about the moon is BS. I smell a very big rat........I could be wrong but untill they go back and do it again I'm a none believer!

nah, you can get past the van allen belt no problems.

radiation is the sticking point for me. Outside the van allen belt everything organic would get fried, so if they did it how did they do it?

I would say yes.
Its pretty certain that the Russians would of had spies in nasa (and probably still do)
If America faked it, the Russians would have had all the ammo they needed to call Americas bluff and make them look like idiots
Therefore I'm sure they did
