A sparrowhawk! Totally unharmed, she must have dragged it in through the cat flap, as both doors and windows were shut!
Caught the psycho kitty and put her in the kitchen, then open the conservatory doors in hope it would fly out, but it just kept flapping against glass..
So, had to get a towel, caught the hawk, and released outside. It did couple of celebratory circuits around our neighbours house, then flew off... result!
P.S. the reason it's sitting on a piece of bred is that we're drying old bred for the horses...not at all to make a sparrowhawk sandwich!  |

I know, it must have been especially nice bird. I was expecting it to go for me when I had to wrap it in the towel, but although it struggled, it never actually tried to peck or scratch. |
