Apollo is such an active little guy, loves climbing all over the place and is out and about to watch most evenings.

Decided this week he needed some real climbing material so redecorated with ropes I made!

I used cotton rope from the diy section of my local 99p store as you get 15 metres and need the whole lot!

I tied a cut line to a round cable clip (with a nail to hammer into the viv) and then used the rest to knot around it.

I tied the rest of the length to the cable clip and knotted it by making a small loop in front of the cut length and pushing the end through the loop from the back (hope this makes sense!)

The rest is attached with plastic coated cup hooks :)

Does take a ridiculously long time to do but looks so good!

Fab job....Love the rope idea....how did you do that and what did you use to attach it to the side of the viv?

That looks amazing!
Love the rope and I never thought about using a birds nest thingy for a hanging hide.
