Hi all
sorry I haven't been on here in ages and unfortunately the reason for now coming back is simply that slink needs a new home and I was hoping someone could help me. I really don't want to do this but my girlfriend is terrified of snakes and we are moving in together in December. I thought about keeping slink and my gf had agreed to keeping slink in the spare bedroom but I don't think it's fair on her or slink as she won't be able to go in there and slink won't be able to come out and I also won't be able to give as much attention to slink as I would like. I don't want any money for slink or the equipment I simply want to know that slink will be going to a caring home. I live in Gloucestershire so anyone near by or if anyone has any good contacts that they can give me please contact me.

Aw sorry to hear this :( sad times. If your gf is anything like my mum, it's a fear she won't get over. My cousin un friended me on Facebook because she's so terrified of snakes. A true phobia is a hard thing to overcome but it can be done if she's willing to work on it!

My home county is Gloucestershire. I wish I could take him for you but we've literally no room left at the inn. I do wish you all the best, whatever the outcome

That is such a shame, is there any chance you could introduce ever so slowly to show there is nothing scary, even her standing at the door till she feels confident just to step in and go from there.

Has anyone else on the forum had the same problem but overcame the fear, any advice could help

I'm so sorry you've been put in this position. It must be heartbreaking but I do understand. Wish I could help but I'm too far away .

Xxx
