My 4 months royal is much longer and chunkier than my 6 month corns, in fact we already put her in a 3 foot viv. There's no way she'd go in the rubs the corns are in. I'm not sure what size rub you have though? I think many people keep royals in rubs far too small...

Royals tend to be chunkier so not 100% sure on a faun, I would say at a year old you could go for a 3ft viv just ensure you provide lots of cover as they can be quite shy and can be fussy feeders. Royals like it slightly hotter at 30-33oc and slightly higher humidity. A lot of people recommend a ceramic bulb (guarded) with a pulse proportional stat to get the right temps, orchid bark is a good substrate for them as it gives you the slightly higher humidity.
