Posted - 04/11/2013 : 12:57:00 Now let me start by stating I am no Interior Designer, but whilst bringing my heat mat into the viv today (see previous threads) I decided to try and get creative. Below are the pics.
Let me know what you think :)
I decided to post them in a gallery which you all have access to ;) for the sake of making this less picture heavy :)
Basically I brought the mat into the tank, Used some Monofiliment line (fishing line) to cable tie the stat to the probe and keep them in tact (no risk of damage as the knots are looped inside of each-other and less than 2mm in size) :)
I then placed 2 sterilized tiles over the mat, both to hold in place the mat and to also keep it clean (in theory)
I then as you can see spread a layer of aspen (between 2cm and an inch in depth accross the entire tank, and then added my hides and climbs :)
The log at the back is hollow and 13 (named after red13 from final fantasy 7) and Goldie love to snuggle inside of it. which in itself is a pain in the bum at times, as getting them out of it is a nightmare.
anyway, I'm rambling, Link below.
Let me know what you guys think :)
Regards,
T
OH and i threw in a couple of vanity shots of the snakes in question too ;)
