hi all my tempreature is 33c 90 degrees on the hot side will that be ok i hav me heat mat on polystyrene and me plastic viv on top of it could the polystyrene be making more heat and should i but me heat mat on a tea towel instead

you need a thermostat to regulate the heat or you risk cooking snakey

as Hayley said. 33 is a bit warm.mine is 28 c and the snake is doing just fine

i tend to aim for 27-29 degrees C on the hot side. 30 degrees tends to be maximum for a corn.
