Sadly our new snow, Hop, passed away overnight.
She seemed well until late last night when she suddenly went limp while my son was holding her. She then seemed to recover, I got up early to get her a vets appointment but she had passed by the time we were to take her.

Luckily my son is pretty sensible & understands it was nothing he did.
Eliza is very upset, but ok.
I'm glad we had her quarantined away from the others & always did anything with her last.

Oh Rachel, I'm so sorry. It's hard enough when you are aware that your snake isn't well but you barely had any warning. You and your son must be so upset....and it must have scared him when she went limp while he was holding her.
Hops was blessed to have you and your son as owners and, in turn, has blessed you in the short time you've had her.
