Viv door smashed.
Felix gone.
One egg in her hide...

Despite having not even been in the same room as a male too!
Of course turning the house upside down finds nothing
I've put out a few nest boxes around the house in case she wants to use one.... just hope hope hoping she's ok!!

First Goonie, now this. I'm not having a good corn year

Figs..

Despite the inclination to focus on her death... Think instead on her life.

I'm very sure she had more happy days then miserable ones.

Oh Erin, I'm so sorry. I am guessing that you weren't too surprised, knowing she was out there laying eggs, but that doesn't make it any easier. There is no way you can tell whether the same thing would have happened even if she was safe in her viv....so no more thinking like this -

You are NOT the worst snake owner in the world!! I've known you long enough to have learnt enough about you to know how much you care for your snakes....and you go above and beyond for them . Unfortunately nature and bad luck has intervened, but that could have happened to any of us....their deaths had NOTHING to do with your care !! Do you hear me or do I need to lecture you some more ??!!!

Scratch that - dogs snuffing something out under the fridge.
Floppy Felix, one last egg still halfway up her body.
